It's done!!! This is my latest original design, 1844 Pumpkin and Bittersweet. It is decorating my antique red stepback cupboard in my kitchen, surrounded by my collection of yellow ware bowls.
Welcome to my circa 1844 kitchen! I live in the historic Horace Bogart Residence in the Village of Romeo. Horace Bogart was a wealthy merchant, who owned the Old Reliable Carriage Factory. He built carriages, sleighs and Conastoga wagons. I love to build a fire in the fireplace on a cold, blustry day while I am baking or dyeing wool for my primitive rugs.
I live in a circa 1844 Greek Revival home with my husband Doug and son Matt. My thirty year love of collecting antiques and restoring our historic home, eventually led me to create primitive hooked rugs. In 2006, after several years of teaching at area shops and fiber festivals, I began my home based business, Never Enough Wool.
